ParticipantI can imagine this will fail horribly, very similarly to the Ouya. No one really wants to play phone games on a big television, they’d be better off getting an Xbox or something.

ParticipantThanks for this information. I’ve always wanted to take a crack at making an Android app myself (I know java pretty much in and out due to my Minecraft modding experience on PC) and I think I could actually do it. And who knows, maybe my app would make me some money!

ParticipantI disagree with some of these points made. I absolutely do NOT love getting text messages about promotions and deals. It’s rather frustrating to get texts about products that I don’t care about.

ParticipantI’ve gotta say the customization. That is the one thing, in my opinion, that puts Android over the iPhone (apart from the price :p), and it’s incredibly important because it lets the end-user tailor his/her experience to what they want.

ParticipantNo, you cannot physically increase the RAM of a cell phone. What you can do is increase the paging memory or swap file size, and a tutorial was linked above. It’ll speed up your phone a bit, but not as much as real RAM would.

I recommend Lenovo.I do NOT recommend Lenovo if you’re not willing to wait a month for a computer. I ordered mine in early June and it still has not arrived due to delays.
Also, it depends on what work you’re willing to do. If you need power, get a computer. If you need portability, get a laptop. Also, do not buy a prebuilt computer. Look up guides on how to build one. It’ll make the computer last longer and save you money.

ParticipantI honestly hope the iPhone 6 has a wider screen. The current iPhones, although an improvement from the 4S and below screen size, is simply too small. If they made the screen, say, 0.5 inches wider, or something like that, it’d be the sweet spot. Also, I’m looking forward to the 6’s increase in speed. It should be very quick and handle everything you want it to handle.

ParticipantI don’t think it’s expensive at all. It’s an iPhone, which is usually made with premium components and has a high build quality. I’ve never encountered an iPhone which doesn’t have incredibly high build quality, so I pay more for them and have that reassurance that the phone will probably last a lot of years. Heck, up until last year I was on an iPhone 3GS, which came out in 2009, and was from 2009.

ParticipantHey guys. I really want to get a TV box, but I’m not sure what kind I should get. I’ve been eyeing some good ones over on Amazon, but reading the reviews, the majority of them report that they can’t stream Netflix or Hulu properly (which blows my mind, why make one of these if they don’t support that).
Can someone suggest me a good Android TV box?
