Ouya might be the most recognizable android gaming console today, but it isn’t the only one. Check out the GameStick (website: gamestick.tv)

Like the Ouya, it was also funded via Kickstarter.

As some of its remarks, we can highlight the CPU is an ARM Cortex A9. It has 1 GB DDR3 of RAM memory, 8 GB flash storage and an HDMI display with output for both 720p and full 1080p HD.

It doesn’t have access to Google Play directly since it features its own curated GameStick store (for the better).

The controller is a bit, well, squared, but it’s reminiscent of the good ol’ arcade controllers many of us grew up with. A point in its favor.

The GameStick’s portability might very well earn it a place in the gamer’s heart. It easily fits in a backpack’s pocket. The controller being the bulkier part.

It has two presentations: black and white.

First of all. Is it well-known, second of all i think it’s a great idea but what about others, they may think that it’s a waste of time and money because you have a lot of console similar to this one.

I can imagine this will fail horribly, very similarly to the Ouya. No one really wants to play phone games on a big television, they’d be better off getting an Xbox or something.
