Wow, is that allowed? I thought you can only do it if you root your phone and then use a custom rom, maybe Replicant.

I think ios has less problems than Android, but I think overall is an Android. I mean in my opinion I prefer to use Android devices, because they have better features than iOS. I especially like the download feature of Android.

I don’t know about less problems. I think the only problems I’ve encountered with my Android phone are ones I create myself, not something that just popped up because it’s Android. Now for stability of apps, they say iPhone’s better although I don’t have any experience with that.

The Bard’s Tale! I love it. I used to play it on my PS2 and now that it’s broken, I can play it on my phone. I do love how it looks as good as I remember in my Samsung Galaxy S2. It’s a funny game and it’s voiced by the doctor in the first Saw movie.

That sounds like a nifty feature. I’ve checked its specs though, it’s sort of old now with half a gig RAM. Cheapest I saw online for it is around 90 usd ($89 USD, I forgot). I might be able to get something better at a few bucks more.

I am addicted to 2Fuse. I usually uninstall games that do not interest me but 2Fuse always is on my phone. I’m still trying to find ways to increase my score even though it’s a simple game and then brag about my highscore to my sister whose phone lags when she plays it.

What then would happen if I had an apk that I got somewhere else but available in GogglePlay? Ive gotten two different perspectives of it being Unknown Sources and as ‘legit’. Clarification if you please?

Depends. It can be legit if it’s from the developers or from people who have the developers’ approval to have the apk distributed. Sometimes, I would rather have an older version of a free app that I have and I’d get the apk for that instead of installing the latest version.

Can Aldiko also view PDFs? I haven’t checked Perfect Viewer yet, I should take a look at it although KingSoft Office opens my PDFs by default, I think. I currently have Moon Reader and I don’t really like how it’s not allowing you to open PDF for the free version although I really love its interface.

I don’t know about the iPhones. The last updates they introduced with iOS 7 are actually things you usually expect on Android devices these days. They used to be the ones that other phones try to copy and now they’re copying Android..

I’ll probably go with anything Samsung these days. I think China phones can try to get near the specs that popular brands go for but in terms of longevity and performance, Samsung does it best from my experience. My Samsung Galaxy S2 is still running quite beautifully and while my sister’s China phone has it better on some specs, mine doesn’t lag as much as hers does.

Android. I am all about customisation, even though I don’t push my device to its limits. The thing I like about Android is that rooting can be very easy, or you don’t even really have to root it and you should still be able to customise it to a larger degree than an iPhone. This isn’t just bashing on iPhone but my aunt sent me her iPhone once to fix/jailbreak and it was such a nightmare.

7 inch is also enough for me. The thing is, I do read sometimes while in bed so I don’t want a humongous tablet that might just fall on my face. I’m gonna say yes to the Ainol Novo 7 Venus, it’s what I have, just rebranded as Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt. :P

I just checked what the Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt is originally. It’s a rebranded Ainol Novo 7 Venus specifically in the Philippines. It costs here 3999 Philippine Peso or to give you an idea, around 564 Yuan. By the way, it’s the most basic I might suggest for you to get. You actually might benefit more from a bigger tablet, this one is 7 inch in size.

Ainol seems like a good brand. You can probably try Ainol Novo 10 Hero 2 which is 10 inches. You can also check more of different tablets here: http://www.squidoo.com/best-chinese-tablets

I’m curious, do most China phones not have Google Play? I think the ones sold in the Philippines were rebranded but we do have Google Play on our phones. In any case, here’s a list of cheap China phones that seem to fit what you’re looking for: http://www.gizchina.com/2013/08/21/top-10-2gb-ram-chinese-android-phones-summer-2013/

Is there a source for this study? It sounds a bit vague. Proving that being able to record people’s feelings and location accurately by use of a phone doesn’t necessarily show that it’s a basic need. I do know that I need it in order to communicate with other people on the go, but I think there are other people still who don’t have phones but are still able to function okay in life.

That sounds so amazing. I love it when Android phones are able to do cool stuff like this. This is the reason why Android is dominating the smartphone industry. The fact that Android is Open source just means it’s easier to tweak to do specific tasks for it and it shows through this news.
