Is there an error message or do you not have Google Play? As for rooting, are you resorting to that as a fix to your inability to download any apps?

ParticipantOooh, I wonder how much this would be. I’ve been thinking about how Android devices perform with some office tasks and I think it’s workable if you have it on a bigger device. This might actually work and it’s very interesting to see more companies pick something else aside from Microsoft.

ParticipantOMG, that is so expensive! The thing is, the features themselves don’t even sound too cool or useful! I’d rather stick with what I have right now although I’ll definitely check this out when there are reviews around.

ParticipantHere’s a link of z4root, I’ve taken it from XDA forums. I’m reading the comments though, you might have problems using it. You might want to check other rooting programs instead, preferably newer ones.

ParticipantWhen in need of Android files, XDA is always where I suggest. Here’s the link, just to make it easier for you. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2434453

ParticipantOh! Supposedly, curved screens are optimal to use with our eyes because human field of vision is curved, not rectangular like most of the visual part of our devices. LG should also be releasing a curved smartphone soon.

ParticipantNice, the kickstand looks very interesting. I’m also loving the specs. I wonder if Lenovo’s still going to make changes on the specs and the design since this has been leaked.

ParticipantI think they’re too big for me to bring around or play in bed. Heh. I own a Samsung Galaxy S2, it’s oldish but sometimes when I use it and I’m on my back, it would fall on my face! It hurts too, and it’s why I don’t want a phablet which would be bigger.
ChiChai
ParticipantWow, that sounds really new. I don’t know what’s the advantage of a curved screen exactly. I googled it, it looks different on other posts, namely here: http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/8/4818572/samsung-galaxy-round-curved-oled-smartphone-official

ParticipantNice! Good to know it has a Linux client. This might be better to have been posted on Android Software though. I’m gonna go sign up.

ParticipantI myself am using 4.2.2 but on a custom rom. I’d probably wait for a bit until my custom rom releases a stable version of 4.3 before I take the plunge. So much can go wrong if it’s not yet stable.

ParticipantMaybe you can check using other chargers? Most Android phones are able to use the same chargers. If it still doesn’t work, you might want to talk to whom you purchased it from for a charger replacement or whatever else can be done.

ParticipantI honestly like Huawei devices, I’ve been looking at them in the malls these days. I love how it’s a phone I can see non-Chinese people using. It looks very professionally done and a cut above other Chinese mobile devices.
I still don’t see it overtaking Samsung any day soon. Samsung’s been around for a very long time and has penetrated markets outside Asia.

ParticipantI’m really glad for Cyanogen Inc. I think this is just what China phones need so they can start being sold more to other non-Chinese speaking places without having to use stock Android.

ParticipantI don’t really know what those mean but wow, those specs are amazing. I would honestly want one.
