MemberI love glory of generals and Prince of Persia. This was a good discount period for me because I was able to get a few apps. Google play store is just great and the apps just keep coming. The apps listed above are worth the price for the most part because they are some good apps.

MemberAs long as google is not profiting from the Chinese market then there will always be conflict. Google just want these companies to pay them royalties for their product and is therefore using legal means to prevent unauthorized use of Android.
July 16, 2014 at 5:47 PM in reply to: Antutu creates new benchmark as response to rampant cheating by Android knockoffs. #17746Rohan99
MemberI don’t really follow benchmarking software and their results. These benchmarks don’t really say much for me. If you want to test a device then run a game or other software on it and see for yourself how it performs. After all we don’t use the benchmarking software for anything productive.

MemberGoogle is just money hungry and needs to have a hold over the Android market. Android was made from Linux and the last time I checked Linux was a free open source project. These Chinese companies should hire programmers to create their own OS from linux and leave google and Android alone.

MemberIt is activities like these that makes me reluctant to download updates on my Android phone. I only download apps from the google play store or apps that have been verified by many users as working. I recommend persons to install the latest anti-virus software on their devices to help protect it.

MemberThat phone is thin but is it physically durable? What if you drop it? can it take a hit? The idea of slim phones is good as long as the slimness doesn’t take away from the physical strength of the phone. I hope they use a good material for the phone’s housing to protect it from falls.

MemberThis phone uses Android right? Apple would certainly sue them if they had used the IOS. I don’t really like clones because they just look cheap. I prefer if a company makes an original design with great features. This phone looks like an Iphone 5S but I wouldn’t want it. I would prefer something else because I am not a fan of the Iphone’s design.

MemberI love Cubot phones especially the design. They look original and not like a knock off. This new phone looks great both in terms of design and specs. I would like to buy one in the future as they are an excellent brand. The 8 core processor must be a beast when gaming on that phone.

MemberThe idea of dual boot is great but I don’t agree with Windows as the second OS. For one I don’t know much people who would want Windows on their phones provided that they already have it on their computers. I would choose Windows over Android on a phone and so I see this dual boot feature as a waste of resources.
July 15, 2014 at 12:27 PM in reply to: Android phones take losses in the US, Apple is the top US smartphone maker. #17714Rohan99
MemberApple’s dominance is only true in the US markets. Android is a bigger OS worldwide. The fact that IOS does well in the US doesn’t mean it is preferred internationally. The day that Apple looses its US market will be the day the company is ruined.

Do you have a jellybean firmware for your phone? If not then you will not be able to. State your phone’s brand and model.

MemberI think you messed up the original recovery while trying to flash cwm. I flashed my phone with cwm recently and I had the same issue. I suggest you find a tutorial about installing cwm on mtk phones using a windows software. It works great so you can do that to get cwm.

MemberI never knew California of all places had such an attraction. It is good to know that animal preservation is still important in such places. The attraction seems fun from what I have read so I would love to visit there one day.

MemberI also think that the fact that Android is updated constantly by many developers will ensure that it will remain on the smartphone market for many years to come. The ease of independent programmers to create new software for Android and the availability of apps in the google play store make Android very fun to have for consumers.
July 14, 2014 at 1:13 PM in reply to: What do you guys think about portable Android game consoles? #17685Rohan99
MemberWell I have been thinking about it but I am still skeptical. I play games on my Android phone and they all run very well with good graphics and frames per second. The Android game consoles also looks good so I may get one if more of my favorite games are made for Android.
