Another great app you forgot to mention is Teamviewer. It functions by downloading the program on the computer and the app on your phone. Then you can start a session between the 2 devices and your phone can control the computer. I’ve used it myself and it works decently. It’s free and safe, just Google it.

I agree, I have TeamViewer on not only my mobile devices but on my laptops and such because I can control from various locations. Nice tool.

Rooting is certainly not illegal. The only reason people think its illegal is because the manufacturer voids warranty. They have every right to do so and we have every right to root our phone. The only real risk of rooting a phone is that it may become bricked and rendered useless.

I would like to know how these are compared to the original ones. I own a galaxy S4, but it would be nice to know if there was a cheaper alternative. I know that brands have their own markups but for 200$ a 600$ phone is a steal.

I concur with the person above mentioning the Roku player. I actually have one of them hooked up to my TV and it works wonders. I am able to play movies, watch youtube, play games, and even control the player with my cellphone. Well worth the money.

I guess this is one of those sections were it really depends on where you are getting your products. Cheap doesn’t necessarily mean bad, but most of the suppliers I come across with always tell me that, “You always get what you pay for, especially in China.” So I am guessing with electronics it is the same deal.
