MemberI would just go with a smartphone with a larger screen, 5 inches maybe. Otherwise, a phablet with a 6 or 7 inch screen. I find the standard 9-10 inch tablet size to still be too small for doing anything truly productive, so I opt for portability and a smaller screen.

MemberThe copies almost never work as well as the originals. They are cheaper for a reason. You can’t expect the same quality, specs and durability. One thing I have noticed is that cheaper phones from China always have a crappy battery life.

MemberEverywhere I go I seem to see an iPhone, and very rarely come across an Android device apart from the Samsung range. And even those aren’t in big numbers. I think Google needs to step its game up if it wants to keep the Android OS going strong. The handsets are great, but I honestly think the Android OS has more potential in other things, like TV’s and gadgets.

MemberThis should just be a feature, not something you need to work out for yourself. It would be great if it could just run standard Android apps, the functionality of the Gear would increase ten-fold.

MemberI agree, this might sound like a good idea but in reality why would you want to switch between two operating systems? And why would somebody want Windows over Android!?

MemberI would say a lot of people buy it out of curiosity, some might buy it out of spite towards the Apple brand, you never know really. Some people might just love the look of Apple devices but prefer to use the Android operating system. While others might be looking for a cheap iPhone and not even realise it doesn’t run iOS.

MemberI would say there are two possible reasons why there is only 1GB of real ram. One being that lots of Chinese device manufacturers seem to have something against allowing access to the entire device memory..e.g. there is a 2GB chip but the system only allows for use of 1GB.
The other is that these companies are simply reporting the wrong specs… But when it comes to Chinese gadgets, I would say either of these are viable explanations. They just don’t maintain the consumer standards westerners are used to and yes, sometimes they do provide specs that are completely wrong.

MemberYeah I like the HTC One, its design is flawless. Its a shame Android updates are so rare.

MemberDoesn’t look too bad. For the price anyway. But since using higher end devices, cheaper ones like this just don’t feel the same.

MemberI tend to go with sites that support PayPal. If things go wrong at least there is a higher chance of getting your money back thanks to PayPal security.

MemberWould be good if Android/Google could incorporate the same kind of back up process as the iOS devices have. That way you could recover all messages.

MemberPretty disappointing to see we are being blatantly lied to as consumers.
