I would say it’s a requirement in this day and age. It not only helps in connectivity but also provides us with a whole lot of entertainment needs to keep us satisfied.

The pluses also include a wide range of apps tailored for our everyday needs. Yes all in all, a smartphone is a must for every one these days.

Right now, my vote goes to the LG Nexus phone out there. It’s certainly got all the features to put any high-end smartphone to the test and beat it easily, it’s also affordable hence it can be more popular also.

Apple’s latest iphone 5c and 5s are actually not that bad and they are raking in the sales and tipping the smartphone market indicator if latest reports are to be believed.

However, having said all that I myself am an Android user and I don’t see Android going away anytime soon.

I own an LG Optimus one P500 and it’s due for an upgrade, so I’m glad to know that HTC One is getting all the right updates at the right time.

I indeed plan to get an HTC One soon enough.

This just made me real proud to be an Android user. I bet the iphone fanboys would be tearing their hair out after reading this.

Unfortunately yes. Compared to the original Iphone 5 I’d actually expected it to be a lot lower priced to make it more affordable to the masses. However Apple has seemed to have taken a rather risky stance by it’s current pricing policy.

IMHO the Samsung galaxy S4 has gotta be the best phone in the market right now. It’s got all the right features to combat Apple’s Iphone and hence it takes the cake in my book.

USB Debugging Mode is a mode that can be enabled in Android after connecting the device directly to a computer with a USB cable. The primary function of this mode is to facilitate a connection between an Android device and a computer with Android SDK (software development kit). As the name might suggest, Android SDK is a software suite that’s designed to aid in the development of Android apps

Android rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets, and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as “root access”) within Android’s subsystem.

Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user.

Android is developed in private by Google until the latest changes and updates are ready to be released, at which point the source code is made available publicly. This source code will only run without modification on select devices, usually the Nexus series of devices. With others, there are proprietary binaries which have to be provided by the manufacturer in order for Android to work. The green Android logo was designed by graphic designer Irina Blok.
