I actually prefer having buttons on the side of modern, large screened phones. The idea of having the power button on top is fine for a device the size of an iPhone, but when you are taking about devices with 5+ inch displays, it is rather awkward to reach all the way to the top of the device to press the power button.

UMI X2 has many high configurations such as 5.0 Inch large screen, 1080px display resolution, MTK6589 quad core CPU, 13.0MP camera and so on. Users can easily find that UMI X2 not only has high configurations, in the meanwhile it also lower the price.

I tried this out and was impressed. Unlike S4 interface that you also developed, it was so fluid and all icons in notification including GPS were working. However, too much of Chinese apps. Keyboard installed easily. SD card mounted well and fast including internal Quite impressed. Dual SIM management was not as good as for the S4 interface. Music stopped when equilizer is activated.

Unfortunately though that is where the upgraded begin and end! The Cubot still only sports 1GB RAM, an 8 mega-pixel rear camera and the screen is the same 5.7-inch 1280 x 720 unit as found on both the Zopo and THL.

The Cubot is currently on sale at a number of online resellers for around $260, however if you were to hang on for a little longer we wouldn’t be too surprised if both Zopo and THL offered updated versions of their phablets for a similar price.
