First thing you notice when you actually hold the Zopo ZP100 in your hand is that, even though it has a 4.3 inch screen it fits quite nicely in your hand. It’s also on the thinner side, not as thin as I would have liked, but you shouldn’t have any problems controlling it with one thumb. Another pro is that like many new Chinese Android devices, it’s running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Two features I personally haven’t find much use for, but you might, are it’s dual sim capability and the ability to track five fingers simultaneously.

The Phone comes with a 1Ghz processor, which makes scrolling through screens, web browsing, gaming and video playback a pleasant undertaking. Let’s go on and have a more detailed look at these features shall we.

Without exaggerating too much I found that browsing the web on this phone is almost like flipping through it’s menu. Depending on your connection the pages load instantly with no waiting time. A pet peeve I tend to have with phones and tablets is a laggy pinch zoom, well rest assured this never happens with this phone. In fact it might run more smoothly than phones I tested which were 3 times the cost.

Games are usually the achiles heel of a phone, but to my suprise the ZP 100 has no issues with most of the games you’ll throw at it. Of course you’ll have some issues with with gpu intensive 3D games, but for the most part games should be smooth sailing.

As you’d expect, it handles videos flawlessly, no hiccups whatsoever and due to the high resolution (960 x 540) the image quality you get is superb.
The technical specs are as follows for the ZOPO ZP100:

    Operating System Android 4.0
    Networking WCDMA,GSM
    Data Transfer GPRS,HSPA,EDGE
    SIM Slot 2

    ROM 4GB
    Available Memory 2.53GB
    Memory Card Supports Micro SD
    Screen Size 4.3 Inch
    Touch Screen Capacitive
    Resolution 960 x 540 Pixels
    Colors 16M
    Camera 5.0 MP
    Auto Focus Yes
    Video 720P
    Touch Focus Yes
    Secondary Camera Supported Yes
    Secondary Camera Lens 300K Pixels
    Bluetooth Support 2.1
    I/O Interface Micro USB,3.5mm,SIM slot
    FM Yes
    TV No
    Format Supported MP3/ACC/AMR/OGG/M4AMID
    /WAV/3GP/3G2/MP4
    Sensor G-sensor,proximity,compass
    Battery Lithium 1650 mAh
    Talk Time 300 Minutes
    Standby Time 150 Hours

Overall should you by this phone? Yes. It’s typically around 180$ but, if you do some searching you can probably find it for as low as 150 dollars. If you were to chose the same specs from a manufacturer like HTC or Samsung, you’d probably be paying double that.

The configuration seems to be not so high, only 512MB RAM. MTK6575 chip, single core cpu.
I find another ZOPO phone: ZOPO ZP900S Leader Smartphone 5.3 Inch IPS Screen Android 4.0 MTK6577 dual core 4GB ROM GPS, only sold $159.99, seems to be more cost-effective

Nice review! More photos and real user experience would be better though. :)

The relation between quality and price is really good. The speakers and microphone works well, the camera is ok.
