Star N9589 MTK6589 success after 10th attempt!!!

1st – couldn’t get adb to work despite installing adt-bundle-windows-x86_64
2nd – couldn’t get mt6589_rooter to work

After 6 hours of sleep, finally got it working!!!!!!!

I own MTK6589 Guophone Note2.
I am using linux ubuntu 12.04 up-to-date version to root my phone
follow step by step in “How To Root MTK6589 Tutorial”, i am stuck at this:

I have a UMI X2. I found this link very helpfule to load the USB Driver.

I download mt6589_rooting_pkg.zip file, extracted to c:folder, ran the RUN.BAT command, every thing went fine without a glitch. I verified the root by downloading ROOT CHECKER from the Market.

I still having a problem flashing my UMI X2, I get an error in recovery mode, not sure why or what.

Tengo un Flying F600 Quad Core MTK6589 Android 4.1.2 MD:989 y tengo que decir que e hecho el root siguiendo los pasos que ponen en la primera pagina y ya tengo el móvil root.
Quiero tan bien dar este detalle por si alguno no le funciona, cuando pinchen el archivo Run, Ejecutar Como Apministrador, ami me funciono, espero poder ayudar un saludo. : Chunga:
