My very first Android phone was the Samsung Galaxy Y and I got it in the first quarter of 2012. Though it had a small internal memory, weak processor and small screen, I love it because there were just so many apps to download and try. Though I have a new phone, I still use the galaxy y often.

I wonder why rooting is considered illegal when you already bought the phone in the first place. The phone is yours and you can do anything with it right? You could give it to a friend or you could throw it into the ocean. Then here comes rooting and they say that it’s illegal. Why?

What is the size of the game? Is it free to download with some in-game purchases or will you be charged outright before downloading the game? Maybe I better start freeing some memory on my phone.

I like tom the talking cat, even though it’s an old app I can’t get enough of it!

What talking cat do you have? Is it talking Tom? I could also recommend Tom loves Angela and Talking Ginger. Both apps are funny especially Talking Ginger. Toy won’t get enough of her cuteness.

Can screencast record what’s going on in the screen of an Android device without connecting it to a computer? What format does it record the videos? Could it record the screen in HD? Oh well, maybe I’m asking too much. . .

Well, if you’re really torn between two Android devices, I suggest that you go with a phablet. Or tabphone. Whatever you want to call it. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 is the best phablet in the market today. It fits on your pocket and is as powerful as any other high end tablet out there. It may have a smaller screen than a tablet but it’s much easier to bring it out and use it at any given time. I have one and I can’t think of any device that comes close to it.

I only use two apps in the list – Google Maps and Pocket. I always use Google Maps when I go to a new place. It’s really very handy to have with you when traveling. I used pocket to save important web pages so that I could view them even if I’m offline. I only use Pocket on my old smartphone though. My new phone now allows me to save Web pages anytime for offline viewing.

That’s called Zombie Booth Norrwen. And yes, that’s really a cool app. You could also try Vampire Booth (which turns you into a vampire) and haunted Booth which turns you into a scary ghoul. These are all for free.

Did you even try to use any of these apps that you have recommended and did you see the rating of the apps that you have given? But thanks for your help anyway. I’ve seen all of those. What I want is a decent screen recorder.

Some new Smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 makes it so easy to make screenshots. All you need to do is to swipe your hand across the screen and a screenshot would automatically be taken! You could also capture a specific object on screen by drawing around the object using the stylus.

Better yet, you may want to have an extra battery so that your mobile phone could actually live forever. you may need to purchase a universal changer though so that you could charge your extra battery without connecting it to your phone.

In addition to what you have said, I have read that if you make a mistake in rooting your phone, there is a possibility that the phone would become “bricked” – meaning you would not be able to use the phone anymore because it would be permanently damaged.

I’m now a bit scared to root my phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I found that I can record the things that I do in S note. However the video is recorded as a .spk file. I don’t know how to convert this file into an mp3 file. The samsung galaxy note 2 originally had a screen recorder application. Samsung did not include this in the final product though due to some copyright issues. If you manage to find the screen recorder application, please inform me.

    Android! Lol.

I never was a fan of the iOS. The closed ecosystem of the iOS is a big turnoff for me. Android is really the way to go since it is more accessible to a wide range of devices.

    Ok, I admit, I’m biased.

Search Sun Rise (free) on Google Play. It’s a simple live wallpaper that shows a sunrise scene (which looks more like sunset actually). The scene is very moody and atmospheric and relaxing. You just have to see it to believe it.
