No. Rooting will not fix that. Probably it is a setting issue. Go to Settings > Display and make sure Auto rotate screen option is checked.
Hi, auto-rotate is checked. I have turned it on/off restarted and nothing seems to be doing it. I even followed the rooting method on this forum and it rooted successfully but it didnt help. So its hardware you think?
I had same problem, i solve it, try to re-calibrate it go to the screen options and then select “G-Sensor calibration” when you calibrate screen must be up, clic calibrate and wait, that’s all, rotation must work now.
