Hello, first of all we would like to wish everyone a happy Chinese new year.

We have already previously reported that Doogee will be joining the 2015’s Thailand Mobile Expo, and now we have more information about what is going on over there.

Without further due, let’s introduce the team attending the Expo in Thailand.

Thailand Mobil Expo is Thailand’s biggest mobile expo, every year, all the major players of the mobile industry, chip manufacturers etc.. from all over the world join in.

The fair will be held from February. 12Th to 15Th.

This year’s edition of the Thailand Mobil Expo was held in Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, in the interception of Thanon Sukhumvit with Rama 4 Road。 The convention center is public build in 1991. It can acomodate more than 6000 people at once.

South-east Asia is of the key markets Doogee is planing to expand to in 2015. As the Chinese economy keeps on developing, the competition in our home markets increases, and the same all around the world, east-asia has dust became one of the main battle fronts for all big brands.

Doogee has already gained quite a lot of experience during 2014 expanding to the European and African market. We believe that joining this expo is our first step in conquering the South-east Asian market.

One of Russia’s most famous youtubers when it comes to technology, Denis Vasilyev , who runs the gadget.letnick.com show in youtube, recently paid a visit to our headquarters in Shenzhen. Denis has almost 200000 followers in youtube and talks about Chinese technology from China. He was received by our promotion team and showed around our offices, and of course our mobiles.

The visit started early in the morning, he arrived accompanied of a Russian friend who speak English to act as a translator. They were taken to a meeting room where they were briefly introduced to the company and the recording of the video was prepared. Latter a video showing our offices and our technical department was shot. After that, he was introduced to some of our new models, the F1 and the DG750. He asked some very clever questions about our new models and demanded to conduct an Antutu test on them, a request we happily obliged to. After that, he made a video talking about all our phones, there advantages and disadvantages, he was mainly interested into knowing details about the phones and showed a great worrying about quality aspects, he was also mainly interested in the ideas behind the phones.

After that they were invited to a “Very light tea” and a few pictures were taken with them and our staff, after some difficulties since our photographer was not in the building at the moment.

Denis and his friend are invited to come after Chinese new year to visit our factory in Shenzhen to keep on reporting to our Russian customer about how Doogee works. We hope to seen back at Doogee soon.

During 2014 Doogee expanded again the European core countries’ markets like Spain, France, Italy, UK, Germany, we opened shops both online and offline, and new selling channels, including Walmart and Mediamarket, and we started cooperating with carriers like Vodafone.

We even signed a contract with a the Spanish football team Villarreal, we supported women’s tennis ,beach music festivals and we will be at WMC in Barcelona.

In the past year we have also increased our cooperation with many media, like newspapers, magazines, radio station and even with advertisement on TV

Europe already is Doogee’s most important market, but at Doogee we have not forgotten our first goal. After strengthening our position in Europe’s core markets, during the second half of 2014 we started to open the developing countries markets respectively, in South America, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, South Africa, the Middle East, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Iran etc…we have open branch offices and service centers, or directly open branch companies.

Southeast Asia is also an important market for Doogee, we have already entered the Indonesian, the Malaysian and the Thai markets main distribution channels.

We have also have recently sponsored the first league Football team Johor Darul Takzim.

1- Why is not part of the ¨DG¨ series?

Recently, 4G is already not a new thing, many known brands flagship phones are 4G, to attract loyalty from customers. We did not create this phone to follow the main stream but because we listen to our customers. The “DG” series was great, but to keep on using the “DG” name on this new series would not relay the meaning the new series has for us. So after few months of consideration, we have decided to drop the ¨DG¨ and adopt the ¨F¨ , that stands for ¨Fast¨ embodying how fast 4G really is, Doogee will fly in its research this year!

2 – Why are we releasing a 4G phone so late?

Many customer asked, why Doogee was falling so much after other manufacturers? Mediatek has already released the MTK6732 and MTK6752, but before other manufacturers used MTK6582, MTK6592 or MT6290 to release their own 4G phones in order to keep up with the market.

But many people in the industry know that those phones did not have a optimum 4G experience and could not provide the overall experience desired.

As a leader among the exportation brands in China, It was obvious what our strategy was going to be. We waited until MTK released their A7, with 410 MSM 8916. the third chip 64bits ARM 4G in the whole world. That was our plan all along.

The MTK6732 integrates a 64 ARMv8 architecture Cortex-A53 CPU quad-core, clocked at 1.5GHz, while integrating the next generation GPU Mali-T760,16 core, supports OpenGL ES 3.0, OpenCL 1.2.

Doogee is not the first company in using a MTK6732, other have used it before in the hopes of making stable and reliable 4G phones. In the Turbo Mini development, we paid attention to the chip’s stability and compatibility while pay attention to the market needs and feedback and finally selected the MTK6732 for our first 4G phone.

MTK6732 supports multi-mode baseband Rel.9 Cat.4 FDD, TDD LTE, with a maximum download speed of 150Mbps, and a maximum upload speed of 50Mbps, also supports 3GPP Rel.8 DC-HSPA + (downstream 42Mbps / Uplink 11Mbps), TD-SCDMA, EDGE .

On the multimedia front, the MTK6732 supports 1080p/30fp video playing and recording, H.265/H.264 codec, integrates and 13Mp ISP camera, PIP, VIV videos, Video Face Beautifier, ClearMotion and finally MiraVision.

4G and Doogee´s F1 , what does the next generation in data connections means for customers?

4G has just arrived all over most of the world. Just a few territories in the whole world do not have any kind of 4g coverage right now, so what does 4G means? What difference does it mean for users? What 4G phones will Doogee will be releasing? Let’s dive right into to find answer to those questions.

First of all it is necessary to point out that 4G stands for 4th generation in mobile telecommunication technologies, it comes after 3G and precedes 5G, a technology we will not see around till at least the 2018 world cup in Russia, where it is expected to do his debut. But let´s focus for the moment on the 4th generation.

The main difference between 3G and 4G, and the one customers will feel the most when the pick a 4G phone for the first time in their hands, is speed. 4G connection´s speed varies up to the standard you are using, but generally speaking range from 100mbs up to 300mbs, 540 mbps connection´s were tested in the Barcelona´s MWC in 2013. In most cases though 150mbs is the most you are going to get out of your 4G connection. It may seem like 150 mbs per second is not much compared to the speed you get with wifi, but it is actually a huge improvement from previous 3G speed that on average tops around 70kbs, and in most case 40kbs.

Some of you might be wondering if you need that much speed, but you have to remember that smartphones actually would not exist without 2G and more importantly 3G. First came the connection, then, the user created the need, if with 3G came media rich messaging, mobile internet, etc… with 4G could come, video on demand, youtube streaming from your phone, etc.. the possibilities are endless.
