I personally find no use for a tablet because I work on my computer and use my phone as my main communicator and I want to be able to put it on my pocket. Tablets are mainly for the screen real estate, but if you already have a phone then you might as well get a tablet. But then again, define first your use for the tablet.
deathbyprayerWell there’s a reason why the tablet is developed in the first place. It is to provide a much bigger screen real state to work on. Now, as far as phones go, I don’t think it will reach a point where people will do their works on them and you can’t really expect to carry around a mobile phone the size of a tablet. Again, all of these depends on the consumers, some people like tablets some people don’t.
deathbyprayerWell that’s a first, most of my phone are either wrecked or just too retarded to function anymore. But I do find some of these Chinese knockoffs kind of durable and absolutely looking legit. I can’t even tell the difference anymore between a real and a fake Galaxy smartphone.
deathbyprayer$270? That’s a lot of money for a little cracked screen. Do you mean just the glass protecting the touchscreen or the touchscreen itself? If it’s just the glass protecting the touchscreen then I guess that would be too much but if it’s the touchscreen itself that’s cracked well, I can see why it’s too expensive but still $270 is a lot of money for just a screen. Tell your friend to just go and buy a new one.
deathbyprayerAs far as I know you can’t. I’m not really sure though, but most phones are built as is. Which means the parts are all stuck together permanently and the only way you can upgrade is to either purchase a new phone or tear the phone apart and hope for the best. And besides, phones are cheap now just spare a few hundred dollars.
