After weeks of speculation and numerous leaks, Xiaomi has finally launched its big display device, Xiaomi Max. So without any further ado lets take a look what Xiaomi Max brings on the table.

Xiaomi Max as earlier reported sports a metallic unibody design and flaunts a large 6.44-inch 1080p display. It will measure just 7.5mm in thickness (full measurements: 173.1 × 88.3 × 7.5 mm) and weigh 203 grams. There is no Snapdragon 820 chipset reported by rumors earlier. It comes in three different variants and here are the details:
First variant
The basic model of Xiaomi Max is powered by Snapdragon 650 chipset aided by 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. It is priced at 1499 Yuan ( $230).
Second Variant
The next variant of Xiaomi Max is powered by Snapdragon 652 aided by 3GB RAM but internal storage is upgraded to 64GB. It is priced at 1699 Yuan ($260).
Third Variant
High-end version of Xiaomi Max is powered by a Snapdragon 652 chipset aided by 4GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. It is priced at 1999 Yuan ($307).

All the above-mentioned variants of Xiaomi Max come equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back and feature a 16MP rear camera with PDAF in addition to a 5MP front camera with 85-degree wide angle lens. It is fueled by a 4850mAh battery which will provide it sufficient power to last a day. Other features include Wi-Fi, full netcom 3.0 support, VoLTE and dual SIM dual standby. Remember that the storage is expandable but it is a hybrid slot, so uses SIM2 for MicroSD card.
The phone will go on sale on May 17 and the company is reportedly preparing a stock of more than 100,000 units for the sale day.
