apad.tv team has announced they are maintaining a page of all TeamGee Firmware Downloads. Their archive will be updated daily when the firmware is released by TeamGee to apad.tv for any of the products, including the Super8 E1, Super8 N1, Super8 T1, and the Super8 S1.

The first link is apad.tv’s firmware download page. You can find other ROM releases when they publish in the future.

Second is just a link to a ROM for Teamgee super 8 E1 ROM.

Hi.

To update the firmware, you need to press the volume “-” key and power button simultaneously, and wait 3 second.
Before you do that, is the device switched ON or OFF, then do the above ?

Device must be off before you press power and volume – simultaneously. Of course before turning your device off, you need to copy your ROM zip file to your sdcard root.

Finally.

Over the weekend, I manage to do the firmware upgrade, after a few tries.

For those who have the same problem as me,
the procedure should be :

1. Insert the memory card with the firmware.
2. Make sure the phone is power off.
3. Press the “-” volume button and hold onto it. Then together with the power button.
4. Wait for 3 seconds.
5. Then release only the power button.
6. The phone will start to boot up with yellow words for updating.
7. You can then release the “-” volumn button, when it starts to update.

After that, you will be able to access play google market like any branded handphone.

Now, I have to figure a way to fix the memory slot, the memory card keep jumping out.
I may have to open it.
