hi friends am using mtk6589 samsung first copy s4,,, in that network mode i cant select wcdma/gsm(dual mode) and wcdma only mode to get 3g signals… my friend is also having the same phone but in his phone its working… i installed mtk engineer software and tested tat compared with his phone,, in my phone CDS_INFO file or app is missing in my system..which is the one which is responsible to swithc betwwen gsm and umts..

i tried and copied tat file from his root explorer and pasted in my system file and tried installing tat but DCS_INFO.apk file is not installing in my system..

its says failed.
please help me get umts mode in my phone,.

have you allowed unknown sources in setting/security? if you don’t the phone will not allow apks to be installed in this way.

Have you check the path of installing? I guess you need to flash your phone.
