[/quote][/php]According to the news from Taiwan, Mediatek 4G SOC, MTK6595 has sent to its VIP for test. While Mediatek 4G baseband chip is affiliated with MT65** series, named MTK6590, but not MTK6290 as the rumor said, and MTK6590 will be offered officially on January 2014. It is obvious that MTK 4G is ahead than plan.
It is said that MTK6595 is the same as MTK6592, with 8-core, maybe support 8-core working at the same time. And MTk6595 will support multi networks, and frequencies.
MTK6590 is 4G baseband chip, which can be put into market with existing AP. The most important thing is, although with AP+MODEM edition, MTK 4G products still has advantage on price.
