Jiayu released a higher capacity battery for G2 and G2S (not released yet). The new battery has 2200mAh capacity where original version has 2050mAh. G2’s battery life is already very good with original battery. It drops from 100% to around 95% during the night when wifi and data connection is off, bluetooth and two sims active.

How good are these batteries? I’d be careful with such a high capacity, since I have heard horror stories of batteries exploding. There was a big splash on the internet about a year or so ago, when a guy got killed when his battery exploded and it nicked an artery.
