    Hi
I bought a Zopo 500+ with MTK 6577 and android version 4.0.1, I can’t root this phone, I do it with differents methods but it’s not working.
I want to root it to fix the GPS because in France I can’t fix it :(:@
If someone can help me …

@Lezan have you already tried the instructions on the first page? It might be helpful to see if you can tell us what methods you’ve already done.

I am really nervous to try it on the S9920. Has anyone else had success trying it on this device?

I have used it on my S9920. took 30 seconds and worked really well. My phone is now rooted and still workinglike normal.

Here also, successfully rooted after 3rd try. But O.S. is not actually 4.1.1 on this models as it says. If you keep tapping more than 7 times in a row on that OS info tab, it will show 4.0 ICS(Ice cream sandwich). So, the question is: is it possible upgrading to 4.2.2 if unit is rooted? I have trouble with second SIM (SIM2) not being recognized and hoping to fix it by upgrading, or at least flashing the same OS (it arrived from China as is). Anyone tried yet? Any source for the official firmware? 10xz

I have a problem. The run.bat says that I have successfully rooted my phone. But when I checked with a root checker it says that my device does not have a proper root access. My device is Gt-N7100 clone. Can anyone help me?

avidhoni I don’t know the answers. May be you can wait a little bit more, try different usb cable etc… If nothing works, then obviously those rooting methods are not suitable for your phone.
