I am sure this one has come up multiple times on this forum. I have seen a few posts which identify the ways to Factory Reset a Chinese Tablet (in Chinese Language) but for some reason my tablet simply does not have the option for a wipe. Here is what I get when I get into the factory mode.

Most posts refer to a Chinese language Menu with at least 7 or 8 options with an option e-MMC which is simple missing in my menu. I will be extremely thankful if someone can help me out on this.

You say that you don’t have that option in your recovery menu. Do you have a possibility to install another recovery image ?

Thank you very much Umit for your response.

I cannot fully understand your statement but I can only tell you that I can at max reach the top screen of factory mode. Nothing more. Please let me know how I can add a picture to this post so that I can show it to you somehow.

Basically, device ROMs has two parts: Recovery part and ROM part. Recovery part is kind of BIOS on your PC (this is not completely true, but I needed to give an example). It handles loading your phones OS, flash, reset, etc… functions. It is possible to only flash Recovery part of your ROM. But, you need to find a Recovery ROM image that fits your phone and you must know how to do it.

Hold the power key an volume key. (ONCE IT SHUTS OFF KEEP YOU HAND STILL ON BOTH) then these keyword thingys will show up then press factory reset.. orrr hold power an volume key down then when it shuts off wait about 20sec then let go of volume key NOT POWER BUTTON

Many Chinese phone disable the wipe feature in default in order to keep the stock rom
