Chinese phone maker Coolpad have unveiled the Coolpad 8920 4G LTE equipped Android smartphone which is compatible on both TDD-LE and FDD-LTE!

The Coolpad 8920 is the first 4G equipped phone we have seen that is aimed at the Chinese phone market, and as 4G coverage isn’t widespread the engineers behind the phone have ensured it will work on most current and future networks!

Currently the 8920 supports both TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE, but if you don’t have access to 4G just yet is will still happily run on China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA and Unicom’s WCDMA 3G and 2G GSM networks!

A detailed specification hasn’t been released yet, but we do know the Coolpad 8920 runs on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7Ghz, has a 5-inch HD display, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, 3000mAh battery, Android 4.1 and enhanced Dolby and DTS stereo sound.
