The IFA 2016 show is ongoing in Berlin and as every year, technology companies announce new products there. Among the many new announcements, Lenovo announced a new notebook, the Yoga Book that features two touch surfaces and a virtual keyboard. The first touch surface is -of course- the 10.1″ display and the second is where the keyboard would be on a conventional notebook. This surface doubles as a virtual keyboard where keys light up when you need them with haptic feedback and as a drawing surface when you use the stylus that comes with the device.

The concept is impressive indeed, but what happens with real world performance? Things get a little blurry as, apart from the extra touch surface provided, it is a common tablet with hardware identical or inferior to cheaper devices like the Chuwi HiBook Pro. What happens if you mainly want a tablet instead of the solution Lenovo provides? It seems that Chuwi HiBook Pro has the upper hand in this duel as except for the little bit inferior CPU and camera, it matches or bests all other categories, with the most important being the dual-OS and the price. The HiBook Pro comes with dual-OS Android/Windows 10 and a price tag of $249 whereas the Yoga Book comes with either Android or Windows 10 and a price that starts from $499. That’s HiBook Pro x2.

    Which would you choose?
