Successful root on acer liquid e2 duo.
At first it did not work because under windows the script called “adb” instead of “adb.exe”.
So I just replaced every “adb” with “adb.exe” and everything went smoothly.
It was hanging when pushing superuser.apk but it was just because a pop-up on my screen was waiting for my input.

I own a No.1 P7 tablet. As far as I know nobody has been able to root this phone yet. I tried every method avalaible on the web, except building my own CWM recovery. I wish I knew why this phone can not be rooted!

Excellent! Perfect! it works fine with THL W100 android 4.2.1 without any issue.
i also try it with Cobalt SP300 android 4.0.4 and works fine.

just got one No.1 P7 as well..and cant find a single post of a successful rooting for this phone

I got my NO.1 P7 rooted. I luckily found tool Romastersetup.
I am not allowed by the this forum’s stupid rules to post the clickable link to the tool so you have to look up chinese webs for Romastersetup.

You will get a superuser binary in chinese. This is somehow troublesome. Each time you get asked for root privileges, yes answer is the right button.

Be careful: after rooting I realized I got the trojan Android.Pris.
I do not know if this trojan was in my tablet before rooting with Romastersetup.
Anyway, check it out after rooting.

Disclaimer: If the process is stuck at pkg: /data/local/tmp/Superuser.apk
Check your phone, it might be prompting for Verifying Google Apps. Just click deny, then the process will proceed. Kudos to the one who made this rooting process very easy. CHEERS!!
