    I tried with THL W8S to and doesn’t work. It just says “Failure” when it tries to root.
    can anyone Help with another rooting tool for THL W8S?

    I root mine Thl W8s with this way. Simple and fast!

    Had same problem with my Star S5. I ran the batch file again, but this time right-clicked it and did ‘run as administrator’. Now Supersu works and I have root.

    Hello Umit,

    I’ve done all the steps, you wrote.
    The phone has rebooted.
    … but it wouldn’t be rooted :-(

    faster gps, MOTools/Power gps search (… and so on) telling me: rooted system needed.

    Have you any ideas?

    Just rooted my Cubot A890 (M6589), stock 4.2.1, build 20130709. Worked like a charm!

    I followed How To Root MTK6589 Tutorial,a w8beyond phone. i keep getting fail can anybody help please thanks. hambo
