Increase Apps Storage space to 2gb in MTK6589 chipset powered Smartphones

Hello guys, once again I am back with an very much useful modification for MTK6589 phones. Today we will increase App storage space of MTK6589 from 1gb to 2gb by reducing size of internal storage space from 1.2gb to 230MB.

Requirements to proceed with Increase Apps Storage space to 2gb in MTK6589 chipset powered Smartphones
Your phone must be rooted
It must have CWM recovery installed. If it do not have CWM, then check here to Install Carliv Touch recovery on MTK6589 device.
First of all create a backup of existing rom using recovery.
Do remember to copy all the important data from Internal storage of the phone in order to make the data safe as Internal Storage gets partitioned into 230 mb from 1.2 Gb

Download the flashable zip to Increase Apps Storage space to 2gb in MTK6589 chipset powered Smartphones from here
Now boot into recovery and flash the downloaded zip file and then restart the phone.
Please wait patiently until your phone restarts and once restarted then boot again to recovery and Restore the backup you created earlier so as to roll back to previous apps and contacts. Then restart the phone and go to settings>>apps and see the allocated space available.
