I have been searching for a CWM version for my HTM M1 Chinese phone for months now. That link is very helpful and I am going to try and see if I can manage to install CWM on my phone. I have wanted a custom recovery for so long and so I am grateful for your post.

ey sorry, I changed my text now. The ROOT part is not only for MTK phones, also other devices. Here is alephzains list of supported devices:

You also may try it on others, the worst there can happen is that it just says root failed, and not rooting the device. But then you at least have tried.

I tried installing CWM on my phone which is MTK6589, htc_asia_hk, and it did not work. My phone is rooted and anytime I get this error message. YOU HAVE SOC.

Any help.

Hello thank you for the cwm i have a few problems

1.when i touch in the buttons there is no reaction only under the button.

2. wehre is the back button i dont know how i go back to the last site

Hi, O have a one question. Carliv touch recovery is CWM or TWRP. That’s why I asked, Cyanogenmod request for installation CWM. And Sory for my pure english.
