ParticipantFor me, I love the ability to customise it as you want. It’s also good that you can have other roms to use instead of the default and in my personal opinion, it’s much easier than with an iPhone. The variety of available phones also means you can have one that fits your budget.

ParticipantBy definition, and android phone is a phone that runs android. Personally, the biggest feature is the flexibility with which it can be configured as a device. All the open source apps are available for installation and use according to how the phone owner wishrs to maximize the device.

MemberThe best features of Android devices would be customizations, multitasking, and stabilization. Android has improved over the last two years because the operating system is getting more stable than the previous releases. I like Android OS now because I’m able to customize the home screen of my tablet, which is a big plus and easy to organize my applications the way I want.

MemberSpeaking of Android as operating system here. I think the achieved compatibility across devices is a great feature. I am a programmer and I can assure you that achieving a successful operation on different types of hardware has proven to be a mammoth task for desktop operating systems.
In this sense Apple has it easy. They control both the hardware and the operating system themselves. No doubt this is an advantage. But in the reality of the worldwide market to achieve a whole ecosystem of hardware dancing in unison is a great feature in itself.
Speaking of the functionality for the user, I must say the number of applications. This comes straight from being an open system. The play store is indeed great!

MemberI recently bought the Samsung S5 and I’m loving it so far, I’d recommend this device but the phone is too big. The S3 was alright, the S4 was pushing the limits but thin enough to be OK, the S5 is LARGE – its big in your hand, too big for pockets, very thick with a case on.

MemberI love the way that you can customize it so much right off the bat. The thing I like the most, though, is how advanced android hardware is. The galaxy s4 and s5 have 2GB of ram! That’s half as much as my laptop or PC has!

MemberAndroid as an operating system is very easy to modify and the fact that it was built using the linux platform means that it can be easily integrated in a wide array of gadgets raning from tablets to cell phones to watches. I think Android is the best mobile operating system ever created.

MemberI also think that the fact that Android is updated constantly by many developers will ensure that it will remain on the smartphone market for many years to come. The ease of independent programmers to create new software for Android and the availability of apps in the google play store make Android very fun to have for consumers.

MemberI think that the best feature for android phones was the multitasking. I come from phones which were not so advanced and would only allow you to choose one application at a time. That for me was pretty stressful and I wouldn’t use my phone as much. I would separate a lot of my test between my phone and my computer. But once I was able to get the android OS phone I found myself using it a lot more. The only challenge with my first android phone was that it didn’t have a lot of memory. So whenever I switch between applications and find that some would have been switched off to save memory. But apart from that I really love my and report I think it gave me some of the best results ever. I love the multitasking function in a phone
