Increase UMi Super battery life up to 3 days

Battery life is a key feature for today’s smartphones and not too many devices manage to get the maximum out of their few mAh. UMi Super carries a 4,000mAh battery which should give the handset a good battery life but the company gives us some extra tips to increase it up to 3 days.

Smart battery saver

UMi Super runs on pure Android 6.0 debugging battery saver mode to stimulate 4000mAh potential. To help improve battery life, battery saver limits vibration, location services and unnecessary background data. It will also auto turn on when your UMi Super battery capacity falls down to 10%.

Three methods to clean running APPs

1. Long pressing home button to clean all running APP background.

2. From Settings > Apps, you’ll see a list of apps that are currently running,swipe to the left and you could force stop.

3. Find “Background task clear” and choose what apps you don’t need.

Customize your own background APP running list

Set your various messaging apps to “white list” for the polling or refresh frequency,  by using  “Background task clear” in the settings of UMi Super. And you’ll instantly extend your device’s battery life by a significant amount.

Shut down unnecessary network connection

It’s great that today’s phones have LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but do you really need all four activated 24 hours per day? Swipe down Quick Settings from the top of the screen, and then turn off any of the above when you don’t need it.

Breathing light notification

Using Breathing light instead of unlocking the screen to check your notifications as the screen consumes far more energy.

Adjusting your display brightness

Turn down the brightness and turn off Automatic Brightness You will be surprised by how much UMi Super improves its battery life.

Update your OTA in time

The second UMi Super OTA update is already pushed this week. The biggest optimization is the enhanced battery life by 30%, much longer than before. So you should make sure your UMi Super is up to date.
