After the price and specifications of the upcoming Huawei Honor 7 were leaked earlier, now a video showing off hands-on footage of the device’s voice recognition feature has been released online through Chinese social media site Weibo.
The video shows some of the features accessible via the voice recognition function. It also shows how the function can be activated using a dedicated function key which can be long-pressed to turn on voice recognition. Overall, the Honor 7’s voice recognition function ran fairly well. We’re excited to see the rest of the new device’s features and how well it performs.
The Huawei Honor 7 also features a 5.2-inch screen with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, an octa-core 64-bit Kirin 935 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 3100mAh battery.
The Honor 7 is also equipped with a 20-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor similar to the Huawei Mate 7. The Honor 7 will run the company’s latest EMUI 3.1 operating system which runs over Android 5.0.
The Huawei Honor 7 is expected to be officially unveiled at the company’s event on June 30. Additionally, there are rumors that the company has plans to release a higher-end version of the device that features 4GB of RAM and 64BG of storage sometime next month.
