Smartphones featuring support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology are gradually increasing so it doesn’t come as a surprise that manufacturers like Tronsmart have started releasing chargers that also support the technology. In line with this, Tronsmart’s new 4-port car charger featuring Quick Charge 2.0 is now available on Geekbuying.com.
The new charger, the TS-CC4PC, is available for only USD19.99 and is equipped with one Quick Charge 2.0 USB port and three VoltIQ USB ports. It comes with the charger itself along with one USB cable. It has a total output of 54W with 36W going to the three VoltIQ ports and 18W going to the Quick Charge 2.0 ports.
The single Quick Charge 2.0 port is able to output up to 9V@2A or 12V@1.5A. According to Qualcomm, a Quick Charge 2.0 port is able to charge a 3,300mAh battery from 0% to 60% in only 30 minutes. On the other hand, the three VoltIQ ports can output a total of 5V@7.2A.
There are currently 37 smartphones from a number of manufacturers that support Quick Charge 2.0 with more gaining support regularly. A list of smartphones with Quick Charge 2.0 can be found on the Tronsmart website.
