How to check if a Chinese android phone will work with your GSM operator
To avoid surprises after you buy your Chinese android phone or 3G tablet, before placing your order, you can check that whether it will work with your GSM operator or not.

You can check the network band supported by the device in device specifications. Generally you see something similar to below:

Quote:Frequency GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz WCDMA 850/2100MHz

Usually there will be no problem with GSM frequencies. But take a note of the WCDMA frequency and go to:

Start typing your country name into the top box and select it from the list. Then select your GSM operator from the second box. You will be redirected to the information page. On that page you see the 3G frequency supported by that operator.

If the supported 3G frequency does not match the device's supported frequencies, you will not be able to use 3G with that operator. Please also pay attention that information provided by some online shop websites is not accurate.
