Hangouts 4.0 leaks again, Shows Support For Android Wear Voice Commands

A new version of Hangouts is soon headed to Android devices. Hangouts 4.0 leaks again and it shows support For Android Wear Voice Commands. It looks like users will be able to initiate Hangouts conversations using Android Wear once the latest update comes around.

The update, which arrived in iOS a few weeks ago, delivers a design overhaul & an emojis known as “Stickers,” which appear to be super-inflated. Users can now send multiple photos at the same time while taking advantage of the free photo & video backup from Google Photos.

The delay may cause disappointment to some but the reason behind it could make the wait worthwhile. Hope so!

Reports say that users will soon be able to begin their Hangouts chat using their Android smartwatch. The feature is said to revolutionize the way people send and reply to messages in their Hangouts through a wearable device.

The Android Wear users would be able to actually initiate a message using an “Ok Google” voice command on their smartwatch. We are now able to confirm this, yeah; this works actually.

Simply speaking the phrase, “Ok Google, send a Hangouts message to ___” pulls up a “Message?” screen with “Speak now” OR “Draw emoji” options beneath it. From there you can simple speak your message and once you’re finished, watch as the screen scrolls past the recipient’s email account, the message, and user’s email account. And of course, there’s an option to cancel out of the message.

Google also have realized the rising popularity of emojis & included the feature of drawing emoji instead of speaking one’s message in the update.

The app is still in beta and it is being tested internally. This means that bugs could still be discovered in its early stage. Yeah, this just in at Google headquarters.
