It looks like Cubot is starting the new year with a bang as the company plans to launch its latest flagship, the Cubot S550, this Friday.
The Cubot S550 is the company’s latest flagship that comes with several premium features such as dual 2.5D arc curved glass panels on the front and the rear of the device coupled with a metal frame and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The S550 also features a 5.5-inch HD 720p IPS display with a high pixel density of 320 dpi, a MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It’s also equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a large 3000mAh battery, and a dual SIM card that supports one micro SIM and either a nano SIM or microSD card.
The Cubot S550 will be available in either black or white but the price of the device has yet to be unveiled. We’ll just have to wait for the official launch of the device on Friday to find out the device’s price and exactly release date.
