Remember the days when most Chinese manufacturers would release a clone of a popular flagship? Recently, it seemed like those days were behind us. For a while, we didn’t hear much about such clones. But now, Blackview is here to satisfy the needs of clone lovers, with its Blackview Ultra Plus smartphone.
The company started teasing the device back in November, and according to the initial pictures, we got to know that it is going to be an iPhone 6S Plus clone. Shame that they are yet to officially make the phone available for purchase as Christmas would have been an ideal time to get hold of one.
But now, looks like the release of the phone is pretty near as we have come across some great (high quality) pictures of the upcoming Blackview Ultra Plus smartphone. The phone looks exactly like the iPhone 6S Plus that we all love, but the specs are entry level to keep the price pretty cheap. In a nutshell, just like any other clone, the Blackview Ultra Plus will satisfy your longing for a cheap iPhone look-alike, but it may not be a powerhouse, in case you are into high-end gaming and such stuff.
Just like expected, the phone will come in the popular rose gold color, which will definitely make a lot of fans happy. Plus, it’s pretty thin, measuring 7.8mm in thickness.
You can check out the rest of the leaked pictures of the Ultra Plus from down below.
These pictures show that the phone is a pretty good looking device. As for the specs, earlier reports have said that the device will come with the MT6735 quad-core chip with 2GB RAM, expandable 16GB memory, 5.5-inch on-cell display with 720p resolution and 2.5D glass on top and a decent 2900mAh battery on board. As for the camera, you can expect a 13MP Sony IMX164 sensor at the back and a 5MP shooter up front. These specs are pretty decent for your day to day activities. Slap a $100-$120 price tag and you have got a winner clone!
However, we still don’t know the official pricing of the Blackview Ultra Plus. From the specs and the company’s previous releases, it should be near the $120 mark. The phone will be available in four color options, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, Stardust Gray, and Violet Black.
Although the phone is yet to be released in the market (latest info reveals that the phone will release on December 20), Blackview has two other offerings in the market right now, the BV5000 & Omega Pro. Both are pretty good devices, so make sure you check them out from the given links. [source]
