Not really. I don’t understand why there needs to be a new IPhone every year but I get Apple wants to stay ahead of the competition. One IPhone is enough for me. Now, I will consider a newer IPhone once the price decreases or where I can get an awesome deal on eBay.

You know I wouldn’t mind a Xiaomi Hongmi Mobile Phone. I was reading the disadvantages and it’s not really a disadvantage to me personally. I don’t play games on my mobile phone and I am okay with the body memory being smaller. As long as the basic functions and the specifications mention in the description work as plan, then I am all for getting this particular phone. Everything doesn’t have to be 100% right but at least come close to being perfect.

No to expensive though. Please recommend me some smartphones up to 200 dollars $.

With a budget of $200, I say check out the phones available on Aliexpress. They have very affordable options with many features attach to the smartphones. I know someone suggested Samsung Galaxy 3, but I must respectfully disagree. I had Samsung smartphone and it came with too many problems for me. Then again, I bought it used so it was probably defective. Either way it didn’t leave a good impression on me.

I want buy a new phone recently,i search a lot of mobile phone website, finally i find two phones which i really love.

    ONE is the No.1 N3,it has :

    – 5.7 Inch HD IPS Screen

    – 1G Ram 8G Rom

    – 13.0MP Back Camera 5.0MP Front Camera

    – Support S-Pen / Air Command / Air View / Gesture Control / Smart Stay / Smart Scroll / OTG / Gyroscope, etc.It’s about 190 usd in the 1949deal.

Another is the NO.1 S6, it has:

    -Real MTK6589 Quad Core 1.2GHz

    – Real 5.0 inch 720P HD OGS IPS Screen

    – Real 1GB RAM + 4GB ROM

    – Real Android 4.2

    – Real 13MP Rear Camera 3MP Front Camera.It’s cheaper than the no.1 n3.it’s about 180 usd.

Which one should i chose?I have $200 to use.
Or is anybody has some better phones to introduce to me?
    Please!!!!

I would take the first choice because there’s more features to it. I was particularly drawn to the specification of the Air Command and Air View option. Now that is really cool. Take the first choice but also take into consideration taxes and shipping costs. You said you only have $200 and unless they are offering free shipping, the first choice may go over your budget.

I think most reliable companies in China are developing authentic products for resale in the iPhone market. The functions of the device looks great but I also step back for a few months before I purchase a new product on the market. This goes for Apple too. You are always overwhelm with glitches but it isn’t consistent in all cases. Really, I am waiting for the price to decrease so I can afford to get it.

I love China phones because they are affordable but can be very decent. However, there are some Android knockoffs plus even big companies *cough* Samsung *cough* who have been caught cheating Antutu’s benchmark app to show scores that are much better than their performance.

One modification method is by outright manipulation of Antutu’s tool itself to report higher specs. The other one, which they say was what Samsung use, is to temporarily boost performance if it senses that a benchmark is running. Lastly, another still fakes graphic performance. More info can be read here.

I guess, this is why forums and blogs that are able to give info on how devices perform can be very helpful in giving people more idea on phones that they own or plan to buy.

Great post but the art of imitation is here to stay. It’s not going nowhere and I have said since 2012 that Samsung has a huge problem with imitating a little too much. Listen, in every form of technology where there’s a market for big revenue, expect knockoffs. Counterfeiting is a huge business and counterfeiters will find ways to capitalize off a product in heavy demand at the moment. So as companies find tricks to add to their product to prevent such an occurrence, counterfeiters will find a viable option to work around this problem and still profit big.

I like the games on Android as well. I hate to be the one who may be perceive as a pessimist because that’s not my intention. The games are wonderful but you also have free options to get games just as entertaining for your Android. Personally, I don’t mind paying money for some of my games but it becomes tricky – revenue wise – when you have new games everyday with a price tag attach to it. Either way, I suppose it’s a win – win because someone like me are more drawn to the games where I do have to pay to get them.

When refer to the Chinese android smartphone, people will quickly think of Lenovo, K-Touch, HTC, OPPO and so on. However, as burgeoning brands, Xiaomi, Coolpad, Newman also appeared in succession and developed very quickly. In fact, strictly speaking Newman can’t be said as a emerging brand. But in smartphone market. Newman obviously is a successful emerging brand.

Take Newman N2 quad core smartphone as an example. Compared with Newman N1, Newman N2 caught most people’s eyes as soon as it was launched by Newman in December of 2012.

    638.jpg
Newman N2 Quad Core Android Smartphone

The first thing which is noticeable is its exterior design. Newman N2 adapts bar-shaped model and full touch screen. The color of the body is black and side frame is metal. The whole smartphone seems sober and graceful. Newman N2’s back cover is plastic and has surface coating to prevent from leaving fingerprints. And the coating also enhance the users’s feel in handling. The whole design of the body is very fluent and beautiful.

    635.jpg

Then its functions and hardware requirement are also outstanding. Android 4.0.3 OS, Samsung Exynos 4412, ARM Cortex-A9 Quad Core, 1.4GHz CPU, Mali-400 MP4 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, all these support its superior performance. At the same time, 4.7 Inch 1280x720px HD IPS Screen and 312 PPI Gorilla Glass give users the best user experience in vision.

    3_37.jpg

Moreover, in the aspect of storage, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, together with the support of T-Flash card up to 16GB extended, is completely comparable with other high-end smartphone.

    6_29.jpg

In functions, 13.0MP Back Camera can satisfy all kinds of needs from users. With WIFI, users can use all kinds of functions of Newman N2 completely.

    640.jpg

Newman also has been paying attention to wonderful voice for eighteen years. With dual MIC XDNR technology, Newman N2 also give best enjoy to users in the audio.

    5_31.jpg

After its launch, Newman N2 quickly became one of the best sellers of Android smartphone. For example, in Mentoo Mall, the online shopping website, it already became one of the top brand in best sellers as the cheap android smartphone, together with Jiayu, Xiaomi, Meizu and ZOPO.

Want more information, you can click: http://www.mentoo.com/

I will cosign to a degree with this post. Newman has proven to be a potent force in the Android market. However, I am not going to be so quick to give the leader title simply because they are fairly new brand. I tend to give a company about 5 years to see their innovation thrive and change while keeping an audience. I don’t doubt Newman’s ability to eventually become the leader. It may likely happen but we’ll see.

I would like to see the mobile phone soon. This announcement was made a few months ago and we are about to go into fall season within the next month. I expected to see it by mid-June to be honest and still nothing. I’m not going to get negative about Meizu. I just hope the wait is worth it with a reasonable price.

This really sucks. I had a scenario like this once when I navigated away from a company I was familiar with in China. I bought an MP4 device and of course it was crap. I sent in numerous requests to resolve the problem. After 5 or so emails, I get a response stating I had to ship the item back for repair, pay for shipping, pay for repair and then they will send it back to me. Talk about a rip off! I forgot the name of the company but when I remember it, I will come back to this post and tell you who they are.

Yes. I’ve done this a few times with no problems. My main sources I go to for purchasing online are Alibaba and Aliexpress. I know there are other online retail outlets located in China for me to consider. I tend to stay within my comfort zone when it comes to getting these type of devices because I have relationships with some companies on Alibaba that began in 2006. They have yet to disappoint in their services.

A lot of options to choose from. I don’t necessary think higher prices is better. I learn this the hard way when I bought a $300 smartphone just for it to break on me by the fourth day. Anyway, I don’t see these top 5 Octa Core Android Phones being the only line China has to offer. I can see the expansion into more available lines, especially by Fall/Winter season. The one that has my attention is the TCL IdolX+. My only concern is having a repeat of the nightmare I experience with a previously own smartphone I discussed at the beginning of this post.

I am so happy China has started using the 4G LTE smartphones! I stumble upon one smartphone from China when I was searching on Aliexpress for a wireless modem. The company I came across actually had inventory of the 4G LTE smartphones. I would take a smartphone from China any day of the week simply because the prices are more within the budget I am working with. I look for companies who are the actual manufacturers of the smartphones. The biggest plus is that these 4G LTE phones can be use internationally because some phones don’t have the option for you to utilize them in other places outside of your country.

I was reading a few reviews on some Android Phones yesterday upon leaving this message board. Now, here is my view on the THL 5000. I love the specs and all of the possible uses one can have with the phone. One of my biggest pet peeves with some Android devices is the delay in an app opening. More importantly, I always become frustrated when I am unable to download a certain app. This phone looks as if it could operate as a useful tablet/phone all into one device. I wish I had the choice of at least testing the phone before thinking about saving up money to get it.

The iOS may topple Android but not in the near future. I don’t see that happening just yet but with the constant advancements in technology, no one really knows. Apple is a company that thrives off innovation and their reputation of being the premier host of the latest in Ipads, Ipods, Tablets and more. I can see increase gains for Apple and although Google is the “king” for now, I can’t see them on top for long. Call it my intuition but I feel Apple has the edge because they are more hungry for the spot of being the ultimate representation of technology’s best company.
