Snapshot comparison of the Nubia Z7 Max and Nubia Z7 Mini

Yesterday afternoon, Nubia launched three new flagship phones in Beijing, the Nubia Z7 (high-end market), Nubia Z7 Max (mid-end), and Nubia Z7 Mini (mainstream). With the prices of 3456 RMB (557 USD), 1999 RMB (322.18 USD) and 1499 RMB (241.59 USD) respectively, it looks like Nubia’s newest flagship phones cover a very wide scope.

Today, Inpai received the Z7 Max and Mini. With the Max costing 500 RMB more than the Mini, what’s the difference between the both of them?

The Max sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display screen, runs on the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 8974AC chipset, has 2GB RAM, 3GB ROM (supports 64GB expansion card), and a 5mp/13mp camera. It supports 4G internet and its OS is the Nubia UI 2.0 which is based on the Android 4.4.2. The Z7 Max also has an infrared transmitter, NFC, etc.

On the other hand, the Nubia Z7 Mini sports a 5-inch 1080p display screen, runs on the 2.0GHz Snapdragon 801 8974AA chipset, has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, (supports 64GB expansion card), and a 5mp/13mp camera. It also supports 4G internet and its OS is the Nubia UI 2.0 as well.

Both of them look mostly the same, keeping Nubia’s classic design, including the red “Home” button. Here is a snapshot comparison of both phones.
