weak wifi on Lenovo A850

    Hello,

    I have a lenovo a850, but my signal strengh of wifi is really weak. sometimes it shows good reception yet i cannot play videos seamlessly, takes a while to load even for 1 minute video.
    please can someone help ..thanks in advance

    Are you sure that the wifi router is not the issue? Do you use other devices with the same wifi router and they work well? If yes then maybe you can try updating your wifi drivers on the Lenovo A50. If the driver updates don’t work then maybe should should try buying an external wifi adapter that uses usb. You can get some with the antenna so as to improve the signal reception.

    Yes, other devices works perfectly on the same router, i think the wifi card on the phone is crap and weak. so think might be hardware issue as i have played around with the other settings (software wise).what is the wifi adaptor you talking about? any links?

    You can find them on Ebay and they are relatively cheap(about $5).     I think you misunderstood.
    I have a Lenovo Mobile phone A850 model..
    I think the one you say wifi adaptor is for computer/laptop, is that right?

    I have heard about this situation being similar for quite a few individuals. My friend had this very same device and was complaining about this but not on the same level that you are. There was a lot of uncertainty as to whether it was his route to on the phone. After a lot of research on this phone online it’s clear that the phone does not have the best Wi-Fi adapter for it and so the signal is quite weak. So I would concur and agree with you on that.

    I managed to fix this.
    with some tape i attached aluminium foil folded at the back of the phone and now Wi-FI signal is perfect – super download all times.

    Great think brother. A fix is a fix and when you do it in an adhoc manner it makes you feel much better about your technological and technical skills. You can put some foil on your router antenna to improve its signal sending capacity.

    I like Singapore a lot. The reasons of my liking of this country are a lot. This country has many attractions in it. Jurong Bird Park is Southeast Asia’s largest bird park located in this country. This park has 8000 birds and 600 species from all over the world. This park is the most famous among the children as well as adults. In this country, Singapore Zoological Gardens are the famous place that is located at Mandai Lake Road. These gardens are opened both for visitors and animals. People come to see these animals. In this garden different types of animals are found like primates, reptiles, elephants and sea lions. In this garden children enjoyed a lot, they interact with animals & enjoy excellent playgrounds. The best things of Singapore which attracts me a lot are its Air Force Museum, Art Museum & National Museum of Singapore.
