Alps GT-I9500 Samsung S4 clone probleme with network selection, please help

The phone is a mtk 6572 clone. Dual core at 1Ghz with 512mb ram and 5 inch 480 x 854 display.
The problem is this: The 3G icon is always next to the signal icon but I suspect it’s fake. Because I can’t access the internet and in the settings menu at “Network Mode” it’s GSM only and whenever I try to set WCDMA or any other setting it goes back to GSM ONLY.
I’v been to my network carrier for advice and settings but still no result.
Please help with this problem or tell me how I can find out if it even has 3G

Have you set up your APN (Access Point Names) correctly?
When you turn wi-fi on, do you still se 3G icon?
Its WCDMA frequency supported by your carrier?

Yes I have set the APN
And the 3G icon is still on when I’m on wi-fi.
My carrier has WCDMA frequency support

Sorry I don’t know what else you can do. May be try other ROM (warning: wrong ROM will brick your phone), or ask help from the show where you’ve bought it.
