HTC One Gets Android 4.2.2

I am very happy to say that when I woke up this morning and turned on my HTC One there was a nice update waiting for me.
The update is the Android 4.2.2 update with some great features.
I am very happy.

Hopefully you can get it aswell

I also own an HTC One, white colored Smartphone. I was very happy when I was notified of the latest update from HTC. I am thinking to update my current Android jelly bean to the latest version, that is 4.2.2 . I wish if we were allowed to change our ROM to the original and stock Google ROM in our HTC one Android smart phone.

I think there are some custom roms that allow update to higher versions of Android although it won’t be too stable. Also, there should be a rom that’s close to the original stock Google ROM but the problem with that is you might need to root it first and that just voids your warranty.

I own an LG Optimus one P500 and it’s due for an upgrade, so I’m glad to know that HTC One is getting all the right updates at the right time.

I indeed plan to get an HTC One soon enough.

Android 4.2.2 is very good considering it’s not much of a difference from Android 4.1. I believe it’s more like a bug-fix kind of update or something. I still like it, and I think Android OS is getting better and faster.

Yeah I like the HTC One, its design is flawless. Its a shame Android updates are so rare.

That’s a great news for, but would it receive Android 4.4.2 cause it’s much better and my phone was 4.2.2 and i updated it to 4.4.2 and it pretty good thing to have an update once .

Hey eoinboyler,
I own an HTC One X and it also got the 4.2.2 update. The update made the phone look like new. The designs have all changed. But after the 4.2.2 update, the WiFi is having some issues. Sometimes the WiFi shows “Not in Range” error, although the phone is too close to the router.
Anyways, 4.2.2 update is good and sadly, it is the last update for the HTC One X.
