ParticipantHi there!
I thought it’d be cool to show you my very own Chinese Android device: my Ainol Novo 7 Aurora tablet.
I bought it in March this year and I love it! It was about $170 back then (shipping included), and I bought it from a Chinese seller I found in a website called AliExpress.
I use it almost daily to watch movies and TV series in HD (720p and 1080p, both running smoothly). It’s running a ROM I found a couple of months back, but I can’t remember what it was called. It’s ICS-based.
These are the specs:

1 x 3.5mm earphone portIt’s a great tablet for the price but it also has its flaws. It arrived with a couple dead pixels. It was a very common issue since the Ainol factory lowered its quality controls back then and many batches came with even more serious flaws. I don’t really care about that though, since it’s just a couple white dots in the screen. The newer versions of the Aurora solved that after Ainol switched to LG to get their screens made.
Anyhow, enough talk, here are some photos I took a few days after I received it.
Edit: the images are too large, so I’m leaving their links instead of embedding them.

MemberSpecs wise it sounds about the same as a Zenithink, which is $50 cheaper, and i never had dead pixel issues.

MemberI just love Ainol and their products. My most favorite among them is Ainol Novo 7 Venus because it is a direct contender to the Nexus 7 with same resolution i.e. 1280×800 Besides, the pricing is really cheap and I’m extremely happy with this product. Planning to buy their Spark sometime soon.

MemberGreat specs. but no GPS and no Bluetooth, I mean why. the price is fair for the specs and i think it’s great tablet to be holding. the ram is great and the battery is amazing, the resolution is bit low for an tablet but it’s okay for the price.
