Oppo has announced the upcoming Oppo R9 Barcelona Edition and already photos from the device have emerged on the internet with the 18k gold-plated Barcelona logo on the back of the phone.
Now, screenshots from the special edition have been revealed by the official OPPO’s Weibo account in advance of the release as well, showing a UI with exclusive wallpapers, exclusive app icons as well as ringtones. The official promotional screenshots and photos reveal a beautiful UI for the Barcelona fans globally.
As for the device itself, it’s equipped with Helio P10 SoC, 5.5″ FHD display, 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 16MP front camera and 13MP rear camera powered by a 2,850mAh battery. It supports dual SIM-dual Standby, the exterior is full CNC manufactured and the price for the normal version is 2,799 Yuan ($430). What will be the price of the Barcelona Edition? Will it be the same or a bit more expensive?
