When Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship, the Mi 5, it showed off the new device’s AnTuTu benchmark score of 142,084. Now, real world AnTuTu benchmark scores of the Mi 5 have surfaced revealing how well an actual unit really scores.

xiaomi-mi5-benchmark-01After running several real world models of the high-end variant of the Mi 5, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz, through AnTuTu benchmark, it was able to score 129,414 as well as 133,125 and 127,776 making for an average real world AnTuTu benchmark score of 130,105.

The reason why the scores from the three real world tests are different is because each of the units have their own very small individual differences that affect their benchmark scores but since the difference in scores is less than 10,000 then it becomes acceptable.

Also, even if the real world scores were lower than Xiaomi’s presented score, the Mi 5 still scored very well, topping several recently released flagships such as the Huawei Mate 8, Meizu Pro 5, and the Galaxy S6 Edge.
