Lenovo today announced the developer open beta ROM for its ZUK range of devices based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. The system update will have new ZUI for the ZUK phones and long screen shots apart from other important features. Additionally, ZUK Z2 will also receive exclusive one-button overclocking function which was promised at the launch of ZUK Z2.
Overheating is another pain point in smartphones. With ZUI 2.0, as announced at the time of launch, Lenovo has added a feature that will identify apps that cause overheating accurately and control the app, resulting in no overheating of the device.
The highlight of this update is the much awaited and talked about feature, one click overclocking . This will allow users to overclock the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15 Ghz to be overclocked till 2.30 GHz giving the already powerful processor an instant performance boost when needed.
