ZTE and Uros Launch Goodspeed MF900 4G Mobile Hotspot

ZTE, in partnership with Uros, has launched a new 4G mobile hotspot specifically designed for international data roaming. The new device, called the MF900, uses technology licensed from Uros and runs through Goodspeed’s international data roaming service.

Goodspeed-4G-hotspot“We are excited to join forces with Uros to unveil this brand new roaming solution, which we believe busy international travelers will find incredibly handy,” said Adam Zeng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices. “The manufacturing of the Goodspeed MF900 is already underway and we expect to see strong shipments for this product.”

“Developing an innovative product like this with ZTE has been swift, and the end result is of the highest quality,” said Tommi Uhari, CEO of Uros. “We believe that the performance, battery life and the overall ease of use of this new Goodspeed mobile hotspot will be recognized by our customers. We have once again succeeded in making global data roaming a bit [sic] more easier for the whole world.”

The Goodspeed MF900 is able to accommodate up to 10 SIM cards simultaneously, can host up to 14 Wi-Fi and one USB connections at once, supports all mainstream global 4G frequencies, and is powered by a Qualcomm Gobi MDM9225 modem chipset which offers up to 150Mbps and 50Mbps of downlink and uplink data rates, respectively.

The device is also equipped with a 3200mAh battery which gives it an estimated battery life of up to 12 hours of use or seven days in standby mode. In spite of the large battery, it only takes three hours to charge the MF900 and the whole device weighs only 125 grams. Additionally, the Goodspeed MF900 also features software-based encryption as well as data monitoring and management functions.

The ZTE Goodspeed MF900 4G mobile hotspot will be available for purchase sometime in July from Goodspeed direct sales channels and will also be available directly from the company’s website, goodspeed.io, at a later date. Although, the company has yet to announce an official price for the new device.
