It seems like Xiaomi is on a smartphone launching spree as just last week, the brand unveiled the Xiaomi Redmi Pro with dual rear cameras which took the internet by storm. Now sketches of a new smartphone from the Xiaomi that goes by the name Redmi Pro Mini has made its way to the internet and it is a toned down version of the Redmi Pro.
As you can see the in the sketch above Xiaomi has done away with the dual camera setup on this smartphone. Redmi Pro Mini features a 5.2-inch 2.5D curved glass AMOLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 652 chipset. This smartphone is said to be available in three different memory variants as follows:
- 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM
- 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM
- 4GB RAM+ 128GB ROM

The expected prices of these variants are 1499 Yuan ($225), 1699 Yuan ($255) and 1899 Yuan ($285) respectively. Further, Xiaomi has placed the fingerprint sensor on the front of the phone and a 4000mAh battery is fueling this smartphone. That being said, it also comes with 9V-2A fast charge technology.
Well, we are not exactly sure whether the Redmi Pro Mini exists, but considering we are talking about Xiaomi, a company which likes to reveal several variants of a device, it’s possible that a toned down version crops up after a couple of months. [source]
