Vkworld T1 Plus Kratos battery VS iPhone 6s Plus, S7 Edge, Mate 8
Vkworld T1 Plus Kratos is a huge 6″ phablet with many advanced display technologies. To balance the power consumption of this huge screen, Vkworld has equipped the device with a Sony 4300mAh Li-polymer battery into the 7.9mm slim body of T1 Plus Kratos. Li-polymer battery is much slimmer and safer than normal battery. And it also supports MediaTek Pump Express fast charging. How does the T1 Plus Kratos do in terms of battery life?
Starting with web-browsing test in auto-brightness and connected to the same Wi-Fi network, T1 Plus Kratos lasts for 14.01 hours, longer than Huawei Mate 8 and iPhone 6s Plus, almost the same as Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Connected to 4G LTE network, it lasts for 12.07 hours, longer than most smartphones in the market.
For video playback, T1 Plus Kratos lasts for 9.28h while Huawei Mate 9.02h, iPhone 6s Plus 8.36h and Galaxy S7 Edge 8.75h.
And for 1 hour of gaming, T1 Plus Kratos consumes 13%, Huawei Mate 8 16%, iPhone 6s Plus 15% and S7 Edge 17% which gives the device the best battery performance among these three expensive flagship devices. Not bad huh?
Last but not least, in 5 hours of standby, it doesn’t lose a single percent, same case with iPhone 6s Plus, while Huawei Mate 8 loses 1% and S7 Edge loses 2%. With the T1 Plus Kratos coming with Android 6.0 out of the box, the new “Doze” mode is really helpful for battery life. That’s also one the reasons why it can do better in standby.
By the way, the screen on T1 Plus Kratos is strong enough to crack walnuts and not a single scratch is found on the screen. Here is a video of how it works:
The rear camera on Vkworld T1 Plus Kratos is a 13MP shooter from Sony and the 8MP front camera comes from OV. The device is going to hit the market in early September with a rumored price of $149.99.
