Vivo’s flagship devices X6 and X6 Plus were launched officially on November 30. The marquee feature of the metal-clad smartphones is the presence of Dual Charging Technology which speeds up the charging process and reduces the time required by the battery to get fully charged. Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus are the first two smartphones in the world that come equipped with this technology at the moment.
During the press conference, it was stated that only 4 minutes of charging will increase the battery charge by 10% which in fact is really fast. Vivo X6 is accompanied by a 9V / 2A charger which means 18W of charging power. A test was carried out on Vivo X6 where charging the smartphone for just 10 minutes raised the charge level up by 20%.
A 2400 mAh battery powering the flagship device has really been a bad idea and deciding factor for some people, but Vivo has played it well by incorporating the Dual Fast Charge technology in both its smartphones which is much faster in comparison to Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
Other Specifications of Vivo X6 include a 5.2 inch Full HD AMOLED display and is powered by 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB with a microSD card. It has 13 MP and 8 MP camera combination. The bumped up version of X6 dubbed as X6 Plus comes with slightly better specifications with a larger 5.7 inch Full HD AMOLED display, internal storage increased to 64 GB and battery capacity increased to 3000 / 4000 mAh with all other specifications remaining the same.
