ZTE has launched a pair of smartphones at CES 2016 that are targeted at those looking for affordable off-contract smartphones and one of them is the Grand X 3, a budget smartphone with premium specifications.
“Today we are continuing our mission to deliver affordable premium smartphones with the Grand X 3,” said Lixin Cheng, chairman and CEO of ZTE USA. “Our users are now 20 million strong in the U.S. and ZTE phones provide the affordable connectivity that empowers users, encourages individually, and opens a world of possibilities.”
The ZTE Grand X 3 features a 5.5-inch 720p resolution display, a Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and support for expandable storage via its microSD card slot. It also comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3080mAh battery. Surprisingly, the Grad X 3 is equipped with a USB Type-C connector, something that’s usually reserved for today’s high-end smartphones. Lastly, it will run Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
The ZTE Grand X3 will be available sometime this month through Cricket Wireless in the US for only $130 with no contract.[source]
